FAQs
What products do you use?
My kit consists of a wide variety of products including some of the following: MAC, Anastasia Beverley Hills, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, Natasha Denona, Kylie Cosmetics, Melt, PLouise, Weleda, Peaches & Cream to name a few.. Where are you based? I am based in Fife on the East Coast of Scotland. Do you take a deposit? I do take a £75 deposit to secure a date. The date is not secure until the deposit has been received. This is payable by BACS or paypal. Do you charge a travel fee? Any travel more than 15 minutes from my home is charged, starting from £10 ranging upwards dependant on distance. |
.What is the maximum amount of people you can accommodate?
This is solely dependant on the time we have to complete the booking. I do work on an average of 45mins per hair/makeup and try to accommodate as much as I can in the time allocated. When should I wash my hair? I believe this to be a personal choice depending on your type of hair. If you need to wash your hair on the morning of having it done then do so, but use some product such as volume/texture spray to avoid it being too soft. Avoid straightening hair and the use of products that will cause it to be too soft (oil/serum/conditioning masks/dry shampoo). Most importantly hair should be CLEAN, not oily. |
When should I have a trial?
I usually recommend trials a month or two prior to the wedding when you have finalised most details and accessories etc. Will it last all day? I believe my work to be of a standard that should not falter. Wearing hair down will naturally loosen or fall after a certain period of time and dependant on your hair type...unfortunately I cannot control nature. Hair up should stay almost perfect for most of the day and night. As for make up, most of it should be perfectly in place. I recommend having a touch up powder to perfect your base and control shine. Also a lipstick/gloss as this naturally wears off. Again this is dependant on your skin and ultimately how well you protect your make up throughout the day/night. Do you sell your products? Unfortunately not, but I can advise on the products I have used and where to purchase them. When do I make final payment? Your trial/final invoice will be emailed separately, both a month in advance of the booking date. Payment should be received via BACS/Paypal in advance. The invoice acts as receipt of payment. |
